RSA ADHS Rehabilitation Services Administrations
Special skills training for the disabled gained a compelling new aid in this long-form PSA. Taking advantage of our full production services, we created a world of possibilities where reality and imagination meet for AZ Department of Health Services. BLADE conducted an exhaustive study that would allow for the most accessible and yet interesting visuals taking into account visual, cognitive, and attention disorders. Over a dozen integrated, stylized environments and props were created and matched to live footage shot with RED cameras on green screen. OUR PEOPLE / Louise Parker
Louise, co-founder of Blade comes with a wealth of experience
in the post-production industry. Louise’s advertising career
started in 1989 in England where she was line producer for a
television program. In 1991, she decided that enough was
enough, no more grey sky’s, so went in search of sunshine …
trouble is she got more sunshine than she bargained for!
Once arriving in Arizona Louise continued her production
experience in a freelance capacity until 1996 when she joined
Riester~Robb Advertising as Broadcast Producer. Louise’s vast
experience in the production industry resulted in great success
for the agency and hence their clients. Louise has won many
awards over the years from Addy Awards to the most
prestigious Radio Mercury Award.
OUR PEOPLE / Mark Trengove
Mark, co-founder of BLADE, started his career as Director of
Photography. Mark didn’t have to think too hard or long about
taking his career to the stage. The decision wasn’t difficult…
would he rather be sitting in the air conditioning editing and
coloring beautiful pictures, or outside in 100+ degrees shooting
beautiful pictures…?! The rest is history. His creative eye and
detail to color, transferred from behind the camera to in front of
the monitor. Mark's constant strive for perfection makes him the
perfect team leader at BLADE. Don’t let his boyish outlook or
looks fool you, Mark’s knowledge and experience is vast …and
so is his age!
OUR PEOPLE / Chadwick Halbritter
After battling the god Argos for the last eternal crayon coloring book at the local cafe, Chadwick Halbritter knew art was his true passion. Fueled with creativity, caffeine, and a V.I.P. All Creative Access Card, he’s called on the power of Greyskull to grant him access to develop conceptual ideas to finalized production. His powers range from 2D Visual Development to final 3D production. He’s created diversified work in the areas of TV, web, and print and tackled client gods such as Visa, Google, Intel, Aruba, Aquafresh, Cartoon Network and CBS Christmas specials. Moving to the desert, Chadwick has formed an alliance with Blade. Together they plan on forming a full CGI/ Editorial like no other. Except maybe Voltron. Because Voltron is awesome.
OUR PEOPLE / Bill Garmen
Bill Garmen hails from Missouri but has made the valley home for a
number of years now. He has a great love for post-production
supervision, his dedication to his craft shows in projects coming in on
time and on budget. Bill attended the Art Institute of Phoenix, and
started out his career as a rotoscope artist. He worked every job on
the post side prior to settling into the Post-Production Supervision
role. Bill’s attention to detail have served him well working on
national, regional and local projects. Bill can often be found on set
supervising Visual effects, and at the craft table checking out what’s
on offer. We’re not sure if it’s Bill’s previous experience as an Eagle
Scout, his red beard, or the fact that he just is one amazing dude at
his job.
OUR PEOPLE / Daniel Margiotta
Daniel the baby of the team arrived at BLADE in a very snazzy suit
and tie, which more represented an encyclopedia sales man than a
budding young artist. Upon hiring him, he retired the suit that now
only comes out for weddings and funerals! Daniel’s love to bring an
image to life has earned him an outstanding achievement award in
VFX & 3D animation at Peoria Fine Arts film festival at the young age
of 17, as well as an honorable mention for VFX at Zaki Gordon
Institute, shorts film festival. Daniel continues to hone and grow his
skills under the mentorship of Gabriel Naylor and his other team
members at BLADE. Daniel proclaims that he dreamed of working
for BLADE for a long time, loves the team and is BLADE’s number
one fan. His favorite moto Y.O.L.O “You Only Live Once”.
OUR PEOPLE / Kim Limon
Kim Limon joined BLADE as Producer, coming from one of the
most respected post houses in Phoenix where she’d been for
the past 10 years. As a veteran to the industry, Kim has proven
that she really does know EVERYTHING about her client’s and
their projects. So, in between juggling balls, tripping over dogs,
pulling irons out the fire and making things happen, she’s
making sure the client’s projects are always at the forefront.
Kim really gets it all done!
OUR PEOPLE / John Franklin Olson
Johnny O to his friends, appeared on the doorstep at BLADE after
reconnecting with us via Facebook. Johnny caught the digital media
virus in his 7th grade video production class and has been sick with
the virus ever since, and beware as it’s contagious. He continued
taking video production courses through high school and on in to
college. He graduated from Northern Arizona University studying
Photography, Electronic Media and Film. Johnny is a talented
photographer and loves the production side, but his heart lies in postproduction.
Being able to bring seemingly random footage together to
make a unified piece both challenges and frees his inner vision.
Johnny’s easy smile and laid-back personality are infectious to all
who work with him.
OUR PEOPLE / Henry
Trained well by his predecessor Guinness, to be the official greeter at
BLADE, Henry has caught on well, and will be there to say hi, give
me a pet and a treat would be even better, every time you walk in the
door. Henry has been with BLADE 3 years, and is one of the
happiest to come to work every day.
OUR PEOPLE / Sophie
Sophie is currently in training to be the official greeters wingman ...or
woman, however being very much a pup still, it’s taking a little longer
to catch on, but she’s getting there. However, given a ball, she
forgets everything, in her mission to retrieve the ball. Do not throw the
ball!
